EICTA De European Information, Communications and Consumer Electronics Technology Industry Associations is een overkoepelende Europese belangenvereniging waar zowel een aantal nationale brancheverenigingen als ook een aantal Europese industrieën lid van zijn.

EICTA is in 1999 ontstaan uit Eurobit en ECTEL, de belangenverenigingen voor de informatie en telecommunicatie industrie. De naam luidde toen nog: European Information & Communications Technology Industry Association. In oktober 2001 heeft de EACAM, European Association of Consumer Electronics Manufacturers, zich bij EICTA gevoegd. De naam is bij die gelegenheid gewijzigd in de naam zoals die nu luidt.
